2014 Greer Road Chardonnay – VQA PEC

The 2014 Greer Road Chardonnay was made from fruit grown in our Greer Road vineyard in Prince Edward County. This block was harvested by hand, processed and aged in a single cask. Following fermentation the wine flowed by gravity to a single French oak barrique. The wine remained in in oak for ten months. Following settling and coarse filtration, the wine was bottled in December of 2015.
The Greer Road Chardonnay has flavours of lemon peel, wet stones and flint with subtle hints of spice and caramel. Followed by minerality and fresh acidity.
