This young, ruby red Pinot Noir is a blend of our Closson and Benway vineyards. A rich nose jumps out of the glass full of mushroom, forest floor and pencil lead. This light bodied Pinot Noir has a palate rich with bright red cherry, light pepper and earthy tones with a touch of rustic siltiness, however it still remains delicate. The pronounced acids and minimal oak aging on this wine make it ideal as a palate cleanser, and its young age offers the opportunity to lay it down for a couple of years. A perfect accompaniment to spaghetti with red sauce or lasagna.
